There is no better place to enjoy winter, as well as every season, than Squaw Valley. Home to the 1960 Olympic Winter Games and deemed the country's #1 mountain resort by Outside Magazine in 2012, Squaw Valley is a year-round, international destination not to be missed. Its epic slopes, breathtaking views and enviable powder days make any vacation a unique and memorable experience.

Over bridge 2 and down the river from Squaw Valley is a beautiful example of an 'old style' Truckee River home, located at river's edge. From the kitchen and dinning rooms, one gazes up the river canyon, scouting river activity. The deck and hot tub are perched above the river. Imagine soaking under the stars while listening to the sounds of the raging water? The living room is large, perfect for a gathering around a wood stove. There are two cozy master suites downstairs one with a king size bed and the other a queen, three charming bedrooms upstairs with flexible bedding arrangements and three and a half bathrooms. The neighborhood is private and quiet. Perfect for long walks in the woods. ‘Collins house’ is a unique mountain experience!

Whether you like to ski or golf, the location gives you access to all that Tahoe area has to offer. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped for any kind of cooking you can imagine. The kitchen, dining and living room are open and connected as you hear the soothing flow of the river over the rocks. Or, pump up an inner tube and float to your heart's content down the Truckee River.
